Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of FeatureQuest ("the Plugin"), a WordPress plugin provided by Invader Digital Inc., a California corporation doing business as Nate Wren Design ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing or using FeatureQuest, you agree to these Terms.

1. The product

FeatureQuest is a self-contained WordPress plugin. A free core edition is available on the WordPress.org plugin directory, and a paid Pro edition unlocks additional features. FeatureQuest is delivered as a downloadable software file. No services, consulting, or custom development are included with your purchase.

2. License

When you purchase FeatureQuest Pro, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to install and use the Pro plugin on an unlimited number of websites that you own or manage. The license is a one-time purchase and includes updates for the life of the product.

You may not:

• resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make the Pro plugin publicly available;
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or licensing notices;
• use the plugin for any unlawful purpose.

The free edition is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, consistent with WordPress.org requirements.

3. Payments and Merchant of Record

Payments for FeatureQuest Pro are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (paddle.com), which handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable sales taxes or VAT. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

4. Updates and support

Your Pro license includes automatic updates for as long as we maintain the product, delivered through your license key. We provide support on a best-effort basis by email and through our feedback board. Support covers the plugin functioning as documented; it does not include custom development or resolving conflicts caused by third-party code.

5. Intellectual property

FeatureQuest, including its Pro code, design, and branding, remains our intellectual property. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the software; they grant you a license to use it.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

FeatureQuest is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the plugin will be error-free or operate without interruption.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of FeatureQuest. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

8. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and remove the Pro plugin from your websites.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of FeatureQuest after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
